A meeting was held on 23rd Jan 2012 with the His Excellency Mr. Mahmoud Safari Farkhud the Consul General of Iran by the members of FAPCCI delegation who have participated in the “Iran Investment Summit held at Tehran – Iran” during 23rd- 24th November 2011. The delegation to Iran was led by Mr. V.S. Raju, President FAPCCI, Mr. Shyam Sunder Pasari, MC Member & Chairman International Committee FAPCCI was the Co-leader of the delegation.
The group consisting of Mr. Hariharan, Member & Co-Chairman -International Trade Committee, Mr. Hari Govind Prasad, MC Member & Chairman- Corporate Affairs Committe, Mr. Radha Krishan Agarwal, MC Member & Co-Chairman -Tourism Committee, Mr. P. Prem Kumar MC Member & Co-Chairman- Urban Infrastuructre committee, Mr. S.I. Khaleel- Member, Mr. P.M.K. Rao -Member, Mr. P. Srinivas Reddy, Member, Mr. T. Uday Bhaskara Rao, Member, Mr. Gayam Raja, Member, Mr. M. Sesha Sai, Member, Mr. A.S.Kumar, Dy. Secretary General, of FAPCCI visited Iran Embassy Hyderabad on 23rd Jan 2012 and conveyed their appreciation and sincere thanks to the Consul General for facilitating their visit to Tehran and also for the co-operation extended and hospitality shown to them during their visit. Later the members briefed the Consul General about the business interactions done during the B2 meetings in the Iran Summit with specific reference to areas like Urban Construction, Mining, Cement, Automobiles, Renewable Energy Systems, Technical Consultancy Services for Rehabilitation of Highway Bridges, Infrastructure Facilities etc. They have also requested the Consul General for simplifying the procedures regarding issue of Multiple Visa’s and providing facilitating centers for business in Tehran, Banking and invoice systems etc., which will help in promoting business with Iran. The Consul General assured the delegation that he will look into the matters.
On behalf of the FAPCCI delegation, Mr. A.S. Kumar Deputy Secretary General, FAPCCI conveyed thanks to the Consul General and also Mr Niroomand Sr. PRO, Iran Embassy, Hyderabad for co-ordinating the meeting successfully.
